We had to say good-bye to Tyler and Whit as they move to CO this next week. Bummer because they are cool. I guess life happens. At least we had a fun party to send them off......with a pinata included! You just never know what you can find a Dollar General these days;)
WE WILL MISS YOU!!!!!

ACTION!

So...me and Sarah got really excited to surprise Bekah on mother's day (her first one) with a chocolate shake from McDonald's (her favorite):
....unfortunately, we failed. While trying to sneak around the house and run across their yard, this happened:
all the candles sunk! Strike one. Strike two begins with Sarah's words, "Should we center the lettering?" I said yes, but that doesn't mean it happened!
Notice the various frosting colors.....that was intentional......maybe......ok......epic cake-decorating fail. Strike three will probably happen when I attempt to make cheesy noodles for potluck and somehow mess it up;)

This weekend was great: visitors, tasty morsels, the mall, and a rodeo!
Crystal and Katrina really enjoyed the kid's shows at the store. I can't blame them because I really did enjoy the "Barbie Movie" that we watched at the preschool the other day. Of course I did NOT stay after the kids left and finish watching the end of it by myself when I was supposed to be off work. That would be ridiculous! (sarcasm intended)

I'm an astronaut!
That bull moves so fast, it's impossible to get a picture. The rider has to stay on 8 seconds until the horn blows to qualify. On Sunday, Kerwin compared it to qualifying into the kingdom of heaven. Only being covered by Christ's blood will let you in when the trumpet blows. Who knows how long our "8 seconds" will be?

dear mom

Dear Mom, you'll probably cry, but I just have to remind you of all we've shared and why YOU deserve a special day all to yourself:

birth: scary!!! but you did want another daughter, so God gave you one:)
school: all the way from preschool to elementary to middle school to high school to college, who's been my biggest fan? You. You. YOU! :)
knowing Him: you sang me all the right songs when you rocked me to sleep (Jesus Loves Me), taught me all the right stories, spoke simple wisdom, and loved Him yourself. Now, I'm His child too.

So, if you ever want to bike to Hardees on the River Greenway, pick up sticks in the driveway, dominate in CAN'T STOP, or eat some jalepeno poppers from Arby's, count me in because I do really REALLY love you,
Cass (LL)

Silly Brad: butterfly cakes are for kids:)

COMPLETE CHAOS=all 8 grandkids in the same picture

Zach: you are supposed to blow into it....not smoke it

wow dad...wow....he kind of looks like the tin man from the Wizard of Oz!!!!
