over-rated "bucks"

So...not to bash Starbucks, but I'm going to bash Starbucks. My lovely pappa gave me some Starbucks gift cards, and I was excited to look cool because I was drinking trendy coffee. However, I found that after spending many "bucks", I wasn't tasting anything "starry". We did have a good time sitting on their nice furniture, taking 5million years to decide what to get, and laughing loud in a quiet cafe:)

when a heart smiles

Some people smile with their lips but frown in their hearts. What if we could smile, and it was merely a by-product of the joy inside? That kind of smile lights up the eyes. That kind of smile is real. When it happens, it seems like the sun shines in, piercing the gloomiest, darkest parts of your heart. It's like a volcano: when the lava ignites to a certain point, it bursts from the mountain top in a wondrous, visible explosion. I had a weekend that's got me smiling this way:) Enjoy the pictures, and the next time you smile, think: is it just pasted on to look pretty or is my smile a volcanic eruption from the joy within?

Tour de France/Preschool

First, take a lengthy journey across the parking lot. Since the journey is difficult, there are signs along the way to guide you:







As you step through the door, you see Sarah's office and a ridiculously cluttered storage room that pretty much has anything you can imagine in it: paint, candy, buried treasure, a dead body....just kidding:)Now you step into the most beautiful room in all the earth (except the one in your mansion in heaven): Cassie's Room of Wonders, with blocks and dolls and crayons and crafts....a child's dream......
