That's right: I was arrested. Handcuffs. Police Car. Jail Cell.
The Crime? Being a good sport:) A person, who will go unnamed (Mrs Barbara), pays 5$ to Relay for Life, and the police will "arrest" one person of her choice. Then, the police come and arrest that person. The only way I could get out of jail was by someone (Sara Edelman) coming and paying a 20$ bond for Relay for Life. Things I learned: putting a seat belt on with handcuffs is very difficult, the back seat of a police car is made out of hard plastic, and jail cells are cold and boring and lonely!
While I was sitting there in jail, I couldn't help but think about Paul and Silas or persecuted Christians. Although it wasn't remotely similar in the suffering aspect (I got a donut), it was good for me to think about.
This is the jailbird, signing off:)
