76 trombones

...okay, so there weren't 76 trombones in the "big parade", but there was a marching band!

 ...and a firetruck!

Here we are in eager anticipation for the parade to start:

...oh yes, and in Alabama, EVERYONE wears these hideous "old-people" shoes that they consider "fashionable". Can you tell which feet are mine? I'll give you a hint: who else would wear neon green socks?

And, of course, we had to get pizza from "village pizza" afterward. Very tasty pizza and quite the discussions:

wasn't that parade ridiculously long? (it actually only lasted 10 minutes)
